KellyAnne is leading Drawing Room’s very first Volunteer-Led Event! This month, we’re giving back by working with Heart of Dinner, an organization dedicated to reducing food insecurity and loneliness among Asian American seniors living in under-resourced communities. They deliver nourishing meals prepared by local restaurants and food distributors, and they also like to include a special touch to brighten their day by packaging them in bags decorated by volunteers!

More about Volunteer-Led Events: We’re opening up opportunities for our community to put together events of their own! If you have something you’d like to lead, learn more and apply here

Take a looksie through more of our upcoming events!

  • Pen to Paper (various dates): Learn the basics of crafting a story and adding dimension to your writing. We’ll play with the seasonality of life and use words to examine the many transitions we often must navigate. This will be a safe space for reflection and creative expression without judgment.

  • Color in Flow - Mon, Feb 3: Learn the fundamental techniques of watercolor through collaborative exercises. Then make a framed piece!
